Procedural text

Procedural texts tell people how to do something in steps.

The structure of a procedural text is remembered by using TEMPS.

T stands for title. Title is a book that the owner has written down in a book.

E stands for end result. End result is a reader that tells information with people.

M stands for materials. Materials is a list of things you have to get while doing something.

P and S stands for pictures and steps. Picture and steps are list of steps thats in order with pictures.

Observable Information

Observable information is something that can be seen directly. Literal information is information that is printed or written down.

Observable information can also be seen without guessing extra information. For example in the first slide: there is one boy wearing a red t-shirt

Literal information is some information about some people that went to go print something or something that was written down by someone

Literal information is information that can be in any text.

ANZAC Quatrefoil

I learned how to make an anzac quatrefoil.

First I choosed my shape of the quatrefoil then I choose what design and colours im was going to use.

Then I made a google drawing, then I praticed drawing it onto the google drawing.

Lastly I put my design on the quatrefoil and placed it on the spots i wanted it to be in and changed the colours.

I enjoyed this task because I got to design my quatrefoil, I need to improve on drawing it on a pieace of paper soon.

SSR Selfie

I read 17 pages of a book called BAD GUYS.

First I read the book for 10 minutes.

Next I wrote what happen in the book and wrote the main charaters. The main charaters are Moe, Underlord, and Nathan.

Lastly I listed three new words, wrote who was the author, and took a photo with me and the book.

I enjoyed this task because they had bad guys that they didn’t know. I need to improve on listing new words. I did well on recounting what happened in the story.

Prototect

We practised times table with a task called prototect.

First we went on prtotect and our teacher said that year 5’s gets to do year 6 work and year 6’s get to do year 7 work then year 4’s have to do year 5 work.

Then I tested myself with a sheet work and after i did a sheet work ,I did that to see how many more questions i would get right. I got more anwsers correct on the Divison and multiplication sheet because i had more time to think about the anwser.

Lastly we wrote ten of the anwsers we got wrong in the back of our maths book so that in our extra time we can learn it .

I did well on my sheet work.

I need to improve on anwsering the questions faster on the sheet work.

I enjoyed playing prototect.

Imaginative Recount

I learnt how to about my imaginative Recount.

First we wrote a Reveal. Then wrote about are own idea for are own plan.

Next we wrote the event 1,event 2, and event 3 and ending on are own idea.

Lastly we highlighted  the event 1, event 2, event 3 and ending.

Basic facts grouping

I learned about basic facts and groups of…  and  … groups.

First I wrote the group which is 5, 6, 7.

Next I took some photos of the counters.

Lastly we needed to make sure we were showing groups of x vs x groups.

I enjoyed taking the photos with the counters. I need to improve on grouping the green counters.

WW1 ANZAC

We learned about WW1 and ANZACs

First I learned about anzac and getting started on finding keywords in the story.

Next we went to watch some videos to get information that is part of the questions.

Then we added it to the event and effect.

Lastly we looked to see if all of our keywords had information.
