SSR Selfie

I read 14 pages of a book called smile.

First I read the book for 10 minutes.

Next I wrote what happened in the book. The main charaters we’re family, friends, boys, and raina.

Then I listed three new words. Which were headgear – I think headgear means embarrassing headache. Retainer – I think retainer means a brace bracket. Surgery – I think surgery means like people has a sore stomach.

After I wrote who was the author, and I took a photo of the book.

I enjoyed reading this book. I did well on listing 3 words I don’t know. I need to improve on learning more about the book.

Positive Attiude

This week I learned about Positive Attitude.

First I had to write what Positive Attitude can help you. For example : Once you replace negative thoughts with positive ones, you’ll start having positive results.

This is about when someone is having a sad and bad day. Give them space, Make them feel happy again, Tell them to breathe in and out, Be friends with them, Hangout with them, Let them have food and be respectful to them.

Skit Structure

This week I learned how to write a Skit Structure .

First I had to write down a message about our skit structure. The message for our skit is to be confident and face your bully.

Next I had to write down the 4 different type of skit that has to be a part of the skit structure which are the message, the characters, and the settings. For example : the characters should be Ida, she is a mean girl who always bullies Diola everyday and Diola, she is a nice girl who is kind to others and cares.

Lastly I had to write down a script about the message. For example the bullie should say “Hey you!” and the person whos getting bullied would say “What do you want Ida..” that is a example of what I might say for our script.

I enjoyed doing this task. I did well at explaning about the message. I need to improve on practising more of our script.

Statistical Investigation

Statistical Investigation

Next I had to ask the shooter’s to shoot at the cans to see who is the better shooter. For example : If the boy hits only 2 cans they might win but if the girls hit more than the boys they are the winner.

Lastly I had to write down on the spreedsheet what to organised. For example : I want to organised the tables so the cans could place their, cans so they can shoot down the cans to see whos the better player, Organised the year group together 4, 5, and 6, Organised the stance, and Organised the target.

 

 

Inferring

This week I learned about inferring.

First I read a book called The Kakangora. I had to write down what I can see… So I can infer. For example : I can see people climbing on the tree. So I can infer they are finding a type of nut. That is the example for I can see so I can infer.

Next Miss White explained to us key into inference 2 where. I had to write the answer down for the question. For example : the bell rang and the children ran inside. Where is this happening?  At school. That is the answer for the first question because the bell rang and the children ran inside. I thought they went inside of class but it was at school.
