Synthesising

This week I learned about hedgehogs.

First I talked facts about hedgehogs. Me and my group read a story about hedgehogs. I had to find facts about hedgehogs.

Next I had to watch this video about hedgehogs and write them down on a doc.

Lastly I had to write down what I already know about hedgehogs, what I read in the text, and my new understanding about hedgehogs.

Responsibility Use

This week I learned Responsible Use about the kawa of care.

First we went though and read the rules about responsible use.

Next Mr Wong splitted up groups of boys and girls for a quiz. We had to go up to Mr Wong with the other group and answer the quiz about the kawa of care. For example : What does your parent have to do after they used their account on your chromebook.

School login only : Children must log in using their school accounts. It is the only legal Google account they can use. Gmail accounts are only for people 13 years or older. The school manages student accounts.

Misused Words

This week I learned Misused Word.

First I had to pick a type of misused words.

Next I had to write a sentence about the photo that’s on the slide.

Lastly I had to write down 3 sentence because they are 3 photos we have to write about.

Anywords

This week I learnedd about anywords.

First I got a partners to play anywords. How to play anywords is that the players has to write words vertically or horizontally. One letter per square

Next me and my partner started writing words per turn. When it makes sense with the word the player gets to have a point.

Lastly me and my partner tryed finishing the whole square to make sense.

Long jump

This week I learned about long jump.

First I learned how to jump off one foot. While I jumped I started off with a run.

Next I learned what to do  jumping off one foot. When I jump on one foot I had to swing my arms back then up and over with my arms.

Lastly I learned how to land. I had to land in motorbike stance with two feet. The motorbike stance is when I bend my legs down and my arms straight.

Solvemoji

This week I did solvemoji.

First I had to pick on a random puzzel to figure it out.

Next I had to solve the problem to figure the answer out. For example : Llama + Llama = 2 because 1+1= 2.

Lastly I had to write down on solvemoji google slide what it equals and how to figure out the answer.

I enjoyed doing this solve. I did well on figuring the answer out. I need to improve on doing hard problems.

Athletics

This week we learned about Athletics.

First the coach showed us how to play tic tac toe. We had to get into groups of 3 and go behind the red cones. we had to  put our cones in the hula hoops to win.

Next we played a game called rats and rabbits. The coach had to say cats or rabbits and if the coach says cats then the cats has to turn around and run to their cone before the rabbits tags them.

Then we played a another game. Our coach has to say a type of different running skills. For example : running on your heels. We had to run around the square while our coach says a type of running skills.

After we played a noodle game. Our coach had to pick 2 people to tag the people with the noodles. The people who aren’t the taggers has to run away but if they get tagged they have to run around the square and go back in the base.

Lastly we played a relay race. Our coach put 7 cones infront of us until he says get ready. We had to stay behind the yellow line. We did a short race and then we had to go all the way to the end where the wall is at.

I enjoyed doing the race because it helps me get better at running. I did well on tic tac toe. I need to improve on getting better at running.

Recount

This week I learned about what recount is?

First I learned about what recount is? Recount tells someone something what just happened. For example : your friend and your other friend had the food first.

Next I learned about the 3 different languge feature which is needed in a recount which is past tense, adjective, and time connections.

Then I had to find the 4 words we need which is title, reveal, events, and ending. These are also the words we need for tree in a sentences. I have to highlight the title purple, reveal red, events blue, and ending green.

Lastly I had to find the past tense, adjective, and time connections in a google doc which is called Recount Exempler. For example : drove is a past tense word which I highlight in light blue.

I enjoyed looking for the 4 different languge. I did well on highlighting the words. I need to improve on finding more languge feature.
